The circus kid who became a contemporary dancer
Linda
Linda has been teaching circus for eight years and studies dance pedagogy at Stockholm University of the Arts. She combines acrobatics and contemporary dance, creating safe spaces for teenagers to grow and express themselves.
Background
Linda has been training circus since age six, with a focus on acrobatics, handstands, and hula hoop. In high school she studied new circus at Cirkus Cirkör in Stockholm. After that she fell for dance and did a preparatory year in contemporary dance at Kävesta Folk High School.
Today she studies dance pedagogy at Stockholm University of the Arts. She teaches contemporary, kids’ dance, and dance acrobatics for ages 10 to 18.
Linda’s classes are about getting to know your body and feeling comfortable with one another. She wants to create a safe space where teenagers can grow, express themselves, and build relationships. Her background in acrobatics brings fresh perspectives on floorwork and movement.
