Aliya
Aliya teaches jazz funk, commercial, and afro fusion at House Of Shapes and Celey Dance Factory. She has been competing since childhood and is passionate about giving young dancers both technique and confidence.
Background
Aliya has been dancing her whole life. She started with hip hop in Eskilstuna and moved to Stockholm to train at Celey Dance Factory from 2018 to 2023, where she deepened her skills in afro fusion.
Since 2023 she has been on the dance program at House Of Shapes. She teaches at both schools in hip hop, jazz funk, and afro fusion for students aged 8 to 15.
In Aliya’s class, nobody is the best or the worst. She builds an environment where it is okay to fall, make mistakes, and grow at your own pace. Respect, joy, and safety go hand in hand.
Her goal is for every student to leave with more confidence than they arrived with. Challenges should give energy, not feel heavy.
