Dance School — Stockholm, Södermalm

About USC Studios

Dance is for everyone.

USC Studios was founded with a simple belief: dance should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background, age, or experience. We are a dance school at Medborgarhuset on Södermalm, Stockholm. We want to be the gateway to dance. The place where you take your first step, find your style, and meet people who share your love of movement. Whether you are 3 or 63. Whether you have danced your whole life or never set foot on a dance floor.

What we stand for

Community first

A dance class is only as good as the people in it. We invest in building a community where students support each other, beginners feel welcome, and advanced dancers stay humble.

Authentic teaching

Our instructors teach styles they have lived with, not just studied. Hip hop, salsa, contemporary, ballet: every class is led by someone who has trained, competed, and performed in their style.

Accessible for all

Wellness benefit accepted. No auditions. No prerequisites. Easy to find.

Medborgarhuset på Medborgarplatsen, Stockholm — hem för USC Studios

Our home: Medborgarhuset

Medborgarhuset is a cultural centre in the heart of Södermalm, a five-minute walk from Medborgarplatsen metro station (green line). It has been a hub for Stockholm's arts and community life since 1939.

We have three studio spaces in Medborgarhuset. All have good ventilation, mirror walls, and professional sound systems. The building also has a café, a theatre, and a library — making it a place you are happy to stay after class.

We have changing rooms where you can get changed. We do not have lockers, so bring your belongings into the studio during class.

Address: Folkungagatan 45, 118 26 Stockholm.

The story behind USC Studios

The journey that led to USC Studios began in Uppsala. In 2006, Uppsala Danscenter opened its first dance studio in Missionskyrkan. What started with Latin dance classes quickly grew into a broad dance school with multiple styles and a vibrant community of dancers.

Every year, thousands of students have found their way to our classes. The dance school has become a natural meeting place for people who want to move, grow, and share their passion for dance. Students who have followed us through the years are still part of our community today — and now their children are helping us spread the joy of dance.

The experience built in Uppsala laid the foundation for the next chapter. USC Studios is a new venture in Stockholm, built on the same love of dance, community, and movement.
