- What should I wear?Comfortable clothing you can move freely in. - Which dance styles suit me if I want a workout?Dance Fitness, Zumba and Fitness are built for your pulse. Afrobeats, house, reggaeton and streetdance give you a lot of movement in 55 minutes. For strength and mobility, try Pilates or ballet. Answer three questions in the style finder on usc.se/dance-styles and you get suggestions.
- How fast do you learn to dance?It depends on the style and how often you dance. In salsa and bachata, a ten-week beginner course is usually enough to join a social dance night. Ballet and contemporary build on technique and take longer. What matters is that you come every week. After one term you notice the difference.
- Do I need to bring anything?Bring comfortable clothes you can move in and preferably a water bottle.
