- CommercialCommercial is the style you see in music videos, on stage and in live shows. It blends hip hop, jazz and street with a focus on choreography and stage presence. Classes build energy, attitude and precision.
- HiphopHip hop is an urban dance style rooted in street culture and music. The style blends groove, isolations and powerful movement. You'll learn choreography to hip hop and R&B — training rhythm, body control and attitude.

- Which dance styles suit children of different ages?Children's dance from age 3, with Dansmix for ages 3 to 5. For ages 6 to 8 there is Dansmix, contemporary, jazz, jazz funk and show jazz. For ages 9 to 12 there is contemporary, disco, hip hop, jazz, jazz funk, show jazz and streetdance. Teens aged 13 to 16 have their own groups in hip hop, streetdance, contemporary and roller skates, and can also join the open adult courses. The age group is shown on every course in the schedule at usc.se/classes.
- What should I wear?Comfortable clothing you can move freely in. Shoes depend on the style: barefoot or socks for contemporary, ballet, jazz, pilates and kids' dance; clean indoor shoes or sneakers for hip hop, street dance, commercial, K-pop, afrobeats, house, reggaeton, zumba, dance fitness and Feminine Vibe; heels for Heels; dance shoes or indoor shoes for salsa and bachata; your own roller skates for Roller Skates.
- Which dance styles suit me if I want to meet new people?Salsa and bachata. You dance with a partner and we rotate, so you dance with everyone in the group. On Fridays we hold social dance nights where students and others meet. Group courses in hip hop, K-pop and contemporary also grow into a community over ten weeks.
- Do I need to bring anything?Bring comfortable clothes you can move in and preferably a water bottle.
