Lucas comes from basketball and had body control in his blood long before he found bachata. In two years he has grown into one of the scene's most exciting young dancers, with two international silver medals in Jack & Jill. He dances with the music, not just to it.
Background
Lucas found bachata two years ago. Before that he played basketball, and that is where he built his foundation. Body control, body awareness and timing. Things that followed him straight onto the dance floor.
It happened fast. In a short time, Lucas has made his mark in the bachata world and earned two silver medals in international Jack & Jill competitions. He is known for his musicality and the way he plays with rhythm. Every dance looks different because every song feels different.
As an instructor, he wants to share what hooked him in the first place. The feeling of moving freely to the music and finding your own expression. He believes in growing together and that inspiration goes both ways. Whether you are brand new or looking to level up, there is room in his class.
