How to get in with Parakey

Your phone is your key

USC Studios has no front desk. You open the door with the Parakey app on your phone. The key arrives after you book and works from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after your class.

  • No tag and no code, just your phone
  • From Medborgarplatsen metro station, take the exit towards Folkungagatan and then turn right. We are there, one floor down.

Four steps to the door

  1. Step 1: Book your course

    The key is sent when you have booked. You do not need to do anything more with us.

  2. Step 2: Download the Parakey app

    The app is free in the App Store and Google Play.

  3. Step 3: Create your account

    Open the invitation email from Parakey and create the account with the same email address the message came to. The email comes straight from Parakey and not from USC Studios. If you cannot find it, check your spam folder.

  4. Step 4: Open the door

    When you arrive at the studio, open the app and tap the lock. The key works from 30 minutes before to 30 minutes after your class.

Good to know

  • The key opens the doors to the studios and backstage, but only during your booked times.
  • When you book a new course the times are added automatically within a few minutes.
  • The key disappears by itself when you cancel or when the term ends.
  • Keep Bluetooth on. The app talks to the lock over Bluetooth.
  • If you need an elevator, there is one from the library down to the studio.

About the key

The app does not open the door. What do I do?

Check that Bluetooth is on, that you are logged in with the right email address and that it is within your booked time. Try closing and reopening the app. If it still does not work, email hej@usc.se.

I have not received an email from Parakey. What do I do?

Check your spam folder first. The email goes to the address you booked with. If you still cannot find it, email hej@usc.se and we will send a new invitation.

My child is on the course. Whose phone is the key on?

The key goes to the guardian who made the booking. You as a parent open the door with your phone when you drop off and pick up.

How early can I get in?

At USC Studios the door opens 30 minutes before the class starts. Your Parakey key stops working 30 minutes after it ends.

Can I let a friend in?

No. The key is personal and only works for the person booked on the course. For safety reasons, everyone who comes in needs their own booking.

Pick a course in the schedule. The invitation to your key comes by email after you book.
