Bachata runs at USC Studios, in Medborgarhuset on Södermalm in Stockholm. Same entrance as Medborgarplatsen metro. There are 3 courses this term, on Thursdays and Sundays. The term started on 28 September 2026 and you can join if there is space. Courses cost from 2,195 SEK. Book with the button on the course you want.

How much is a course?
A term course costs from 2,195 SEK. The price is the same if you start after the term has begun. To try it first, drop-in is 240 SEK per class.
When do the courses start?
The term started on 28 September. You can join if there is space.
Is there a deal on?
3 for 2 on adult courses. Book three courses in the same term and pay for two. The cheapest one is free, and it comes off automatically at checkout.
Can I pay with my wellness benefit?
Yes. The wellness benefit covers adult term courses and class cards, through ePassi or with the receipt. Drop-in is not included.
How do I pay?
You choose card, Swish or invoice when you book. The invoice gives you 14 days to pay. You can cancel within 14 days of your booking confirmation. Classes you have already attended are deducted from the refund.
What if I miss a class?
Make it up at a drop-in class within a week, subject to space.
Do I need to bring a partner?
No. We rotate during class so everyone dances with everyone. Come on your own or with someone.
Which level should I choose?
Beginner if you have never danced bachata or have danced for less than six months. Intermediate if you have taken a beginner course. Not sure? Email hej@usc.se.
What is Bachata Men style?
Solo bachata without a partner. You work on your own dancing, body waves and confidence on the floor. Everyone is welcome.
What shoes should I wear?
Dance shoes or clean indoor shoes. Clothes you can move in.
How long is a class?
55 minutes, once a week during the term.

About Bachata
Bachata is about rhythm, connection and joy in movement. You'll learn basic steps, body waves and hip work with a focus on technique and feeling. The dance is built on connection with the music and with each other. Classes suit you if you want to learn bachata, at any level.
