The bachata queen dreaming of world domination
Larisa
Larisa has been teaching dance for 15 years with a focus on bachata, salsa, and bachazouk. She organizes events with Bachatea and is booked as a guest dancer at major festivals. Together with Lucas she is building a strong brand in Stockholm's bachata community.
Background
Larisa has a background in salsa but her biggest passion is bachata. She loves the complexity of today's bachata, where styles and branches blend and the movement possibilities are endless.
She has been teaching Cuban salsa, line-style salsa on1 and on2, and bachata for 15 years. Together with her dance partner Lucas she organizes events with Bachatea and they are booked for Stockholm Bachata Weekend 2027.
Larisa breaks the ice with humor, cheers on every student, and gives personal feedback. She always educates new and experienced dancers about community etiquette and advocates for an inclusive and safe environment. She wants to build one big dance family that looks out for each other.
Her big dream is to become an international artist, perform shows in different styles, and help shape dance communities around the world.
